Follow up...
Just wanted to share that, amazingly, the whole Christmas card promotion things really worked.  And you can expect a really snazzy card in the mail- I just ordered them. 
I am always suspicious of these sorts of promotions, because I  have nagging doubts that they are just some bizarre scam or joke, like those emails that ask you to forward to 12 people OR SOMETHING HORRIBLE WILL HAPPEN TO YOU.   Really, it doesn't.  So, in this case, something good actually came out of it.  And I am pretty pleased.  And you will be too, when you see the girls' smiling faces.
Of course, all of this supposes that I have the energy to address the cards and buy stamps and mail them out.  This has to fit into my very challenging requirement of sleeping as much as possible.  The past two days after a week off  for Thanksgiving break have been hard.  I mean, how am I expected to function on less than 10 hours of sleep?  Seriously?
