As Noella's 8th month approaches, some new things that entertain her:
trying to pull off her diaper
sticking her hands in the toilet
eating anything that she is not supposed to (bark or sticks, paper, and dog fur are favorites)
pulling cords out of outlets
taking as many books as she can off of the shelf (and chewing on them, of course)
sticking her fingers in her mouth and smearing food everywhere
going down stairs (surprisingly adept at this, even head first)
playing with the DVD/ stereo buttons
and trying to stand and/or climb me while nursing.

Couple things regarding these last three posts:

1) Great picture ;-)
2) So sorry to hear what your friend had to go through whilst getting her PhD. I can imagine it is not that uncommon, unfortunately, and good for her for at least pursuing the appropriate (and probably difficult) avenues. I don't know what you are talking about, but if it's what I think you are talking about, something similar happened to a good friend at a university here. And the guilty party (and, yes, he/she was guilty) is no longer at the university. Thank goodness.
3) About Noella. She is absolutely precious, even when she's obviously destroying the house! Send her here. And, how do we channel that chaotic drive as adults. Sunday's ponderables.
