A quick update-
Noella at 2 months weighs in at 12 lbs 4 ounces (50- 75 th percentile) and is now 24 3/4 inches tall (still above the 95 th percentile).
More to come later... perhaps when my dissertation is done!

Here are some new photos of the beautiful girls. Noella in her tub (hopefully this does not get me called in to child services!), stretched out and enjoying a bath.

And the other girls, playing dress up. According to Mariel, Hudson and Marley were admiring her beautiful outfit.

How the times have changed... believe it or not, this was a Superbowl Party. Needless to say, there was much more kid watching than game watching.

And here is Noella with her baby friend, Margot Pratt. Margot is about two months older than Noella and far more advanced. She just started rolling over! Yey Margot!

Noella is officially one month old today!

She is getting big, and I mean it! At her pediatrician appointment this morning, she was 10 lbs 6 oz (about 75 th percentile) and 23 1/2 inches (above the 95 th percentile). Maybe there is a baby basketball league that she should join?

I will take her picture every month with Puffalump, like I did with Mariel. This way you can watch her grow. She was not too happy with the photo shoot, so ignore the grumpy face.

I am going to TRY to do a blog to keep long distance friends and family up to date on our newly extended family. We'll see how I do! I should also mention that I am still figuring out how to work our video camera (yes, we have had it for almost 3 years), and rarely take pictures (that is why there are grandmothers with cameras). So don't expect too much :)

I am still working on a formal birth announcement to mail out, but here are the basic stats:

Noella Ruth was born on Tuesday, December 23 at 4:53 AM.

She weighed in at 7 lbs 10 oz, and was either 20 1/4 or 21 1/4 inches, depending on which paper you believe (the hospital had both). Given how well she fills out her clothes, I am going with 21 1/4.

At her one week checkup, she was already up to 8 lbs 3 oz- definately growing!

On Noella's day 13, we have a lot of changes. After two weeks of all being home together, Mariel is now back at preschool in the morning, Patrick is back at work, and I am back to my dissertation (oops- which I should be doing instead of creating this blog!). At the moment, Noella is cooperating and taking a catnap. Hopefully this will be a trend!
